Our mission is to allocate grants and fund projects for animal rescues, supporting organizations that lower euthanasia rates in animal shelters and help families keep their pets during times of hardship that would otherwise force pets into the shelters.
Our goal is to handle the burden of fundraising for small- and medium-sized animal rescues that do not have strong fundraising bandwidth. The Filomena Farms Foundation Grants will allow these organizations to concentrate on saving lives.
There are five grants currently available: one Filomena's Favorite grant at $300, three Dulcinea's Distinction grants at $250 each, and one Petrocino's Prize grant at $200.
To be eligible for one of the FIlomena Farms Foundation Grants, your organization must meet the following criteria:
To apply for the Fall 2019 Filomena Farms Foundation Grant, click here. The application also requires submission of a copy of the organization's most current bank statement and a copy of the IRS/Department of Treasury 501(c)(3) Determination.

- The organization must be a small- to medium- sized rescue ($0 to $40,000 in donations and adoption fees), and
- must be a registered 501(c)(3),
- must be operating as a 501(c)(3) for a year or more,
- must serve the California Bay Area.
